A short biography of woven experiences and evolutions.
Creative Social Entrepreneur & Executive Leadership and Life Coach
Honey Al Sayed founded Honey&, a sanctuary where coaching, consulting, and facilitative learning converge. She's also the heartbeat behind MAP – Media and Arts for Peace – an expanse that melds creativity with peacebuilding.
Over two decades spanning the Middle East, the United States, and Europe, Honey has sculpted a formidable reputation as an award-winning media specialist and creative social entrepreneur. Her credentials as a certified Executive Leadership and Jungian Life Coach shine brightly. Her proficiency in both English and Arabic augments her vast impact across diverse realms—media, arts, public speaking, and coaching.
Breaking barriers, she steered Syria's airwaves with "Good Morning Syria," a beacon of morning shows for six straight years, drawing in an audience of 7 million avid listeners. Yet, with life's unpredictable strokes, Honey found herself displaced by war once again. This time, it ushered her to the United States in 2012, marking a profound chapter of resilience and rejuvenation.
With esteemed platforms like Georgetown University, the University of Denver, and the Geneva Centre for Security Policy as her stage, Honey crafts courses and facilitates enriching learning experiences. Her story—a tapestry of resilience, displacement, and empowerment—inspires countless individuals.
A sought-after voice, Honey has graced stages from the United Nations to various academic and policy institutions such as GCSP, the U.S. National Press Corps, the United Nations Foundation, the U.S. State Department Foreign Service Institute, and the U.S. Institute of Peace. She shares insights on women's leadership, adaptive leadership, youth empowerment, and the transformative role of media and arts in peacebuilding.
Honey is an Associate Fellow at the GCSP and a certified Executive Leadership and Jungian Life coach. Her academic achievements include a Master of Arts in International Affairs from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Arts (Radio, TV, Film, Theatre) from the Lebanese American University.
